HVAC Maintenance Service in Central Kentucky

HVAC Maintenance

Most of the emergency calls we respond to in July and January could have been caught during a $120 seasonal tune-up in April or October. A capacitor reading low, a flame sensor oxidizing, a coil slowly clogging — none of these are expensive problems when you find them in the spring. All of them become expensive problems when they fail under load during a heat wave or cold snap.

Next Level Heating & Air provides spring AC tune-ups and fall furnace tune-ups across Richmond, Lexington, and all of Central Kentucky — the routine side of our full air conditioning services and heating program. $120 flat rate per visit. Written documentation after every visit. Same family-owned team since 2006.

Annual HVAC Maintenance in Central Kentucky ($120 per visit)

Two visits per year is the standard — spring for the AC, fall for the furnace. Each is $120 flat. No add-ons, no surprise charges. The $120 covers a full inspection of every component we check (detailed in the next section), plus a written findings report that documents the condition of the system.

We work on all major residential brands across Central Kentucky — Trane, Goodman, Rheem, American Standard, Daikin, Day & Night, Heil, Tempstar, and Sure Comfort. As authorized Day & Night and Goodman dealers, we install current equipment on any jobs that come out of maintenance visits.

If we find something that needs repair during a tune-up, we give you a written quote on the spot. You decide whether to have it addressed — no pressure. Most customers choose to fix the small findings while we’re already there.

What’s included in each visit

condenser unit maintenance

Spring AC tune-up

Refrigerant charge measured and documented — not estimated. Capacitors and contactors tested against spec. Condenser coil inspected and cleaned if needed. Evaporator coil checked for buildup. Fall furnace tune-up

Burner inspection and cleaning. Heat exchanger inspection for cracks or corrosion — every gas furnace, every visit, no exceptions. Flame sensor cleaned and tested. Ignitor condition assessed. Gas pressure verified at the manifold. Blower motor amp draw and capacitor checked. Flue inspection for obstructions and proper draft. Thermostat calibration confirmed.

How much is an HVAC tune-up in Richmond or Central Kentucky?

$120 flat rate for either the spring AC visit or the fall furnace visit. That’s the complete price — no add-ons or service packages.

When should I schedule my spring AC tune-up?

March through May. Earlier is better — our schedule fills by late April. Booking in March gives you the best slot availability.

When should I schedule my fall furnace tune-up?

September through November. October fills fast. Don’t wait until the first cold night of the year — that’s when everyone else calls too.

Does my HVAC warranty require annual maintenance?

Most manufacturer warranties do require documented annual maintenance to remain valid. We provide a written report after every visit. If you’re not sure whether your system’s warranty requires it, call us and we can help you check.

What if you find something during the tune-up that needs repair?

We give you a written repair quote on the spot. You decide whether to proceed — there’s no obligation to approve repairs as part of the maintenance visit. Many customers choose to address small findings while we’re already there, since the diagnostic work is already done.

We handle the full scope of residential HVAC services. No commercial HVAC, no plumbing. Just heating and cooling, done right.

Priority scheduling for maintenance customers

Spring and fall tune-up slots fill fast in Central Kentucky. By late April, our spring schedule is typically full for two to three weeks out. By late October, the same thing happens with furnace visits. Maintenance plan customers get priority access to both spring and fall slots before they fill — we reach out to schedule you rather than waiting for you to call.

That priority extends to service calls too. If a maintenance customer’s system needs a repair between scheduled visits, they move to the front of the queue.

The plan is designed to be simple — one annual agreement, two visits, priority access, documented for warranty purposes. No complicated contract language.
