What a proper heating tune-up actually involves
We go through the system methodically. Burner inspection and cleaning, heat exchanger check (every gas furnace — no exceptions), flame sensor cleaning and testing, ignitor condition assessment, pressure switch test, gas pressure verification, blower motor amp draw, flue inspection for obstructions or backdrafting, filter condition, and thermostat calibration check.
If we find something starting to fail — a flame sensor reading inconsistently, an ignitor showing heat stress — we tell you what we found and what it costs to address it. You decide what to do with that information.
